NEW YORK, NY – May 19 2010 – For this residential project, NMA was tasked with a gut renovation of an uptown Manhattan apartment for two devoted art collectors. The design challenge was to revitalize their living space and integrate it with their extensive art collection.
Living room—NMA-designed glass wall with flush-inset mirror, recessed illuminated glass shelving, custom millwork library.
Dining room—NMA-designed glass wall, custom millwork shelving, light fixture by artist David D’Imperio.
Master bedroom—Custom teak bed, cabinets, and nightstands; oversized pivoting wall door.
Master bathroom—custom millwork cabinets, stone floors, glass wall tile.
